Join APT DC on a historic walking tour of Tenleytown guided by Joe Himali!

Tenleytown in Washington, DC, may seem to be an unassuming neighborhood at first, however this historic community is one of the DC's oldest settlements and a crossroads of architectural, cultural, and political history visited by presidents, poets, and revolutionaries. Participants will explore the neighborhood's evolution through its historic buildings, streetscapes, and cultural landmarks. The tour will examine the architectural character of Tenleytown and the ways its historic buildings have adapted to changing community needs over time. See the past come alive on this one-of-a-kind private walking tour!

Please arrive 15 minutes early as the tour will begin promptly at 10:00am. Transportation details will be provided in the sign-up confirmation email.

Please join us us for a webinar presented by US Heritage Group that will guide specifiers through a system of best practices from planning to installation that consistently produce excellent results for projects that involve repointing of historic masonry structures.

This webinar will be presented by Tai Olson, Director of Operations at US Heritage Group. Tai’s experience includes 12 years providing consulting, training and material supply to hundreds of masonry restoration/preservation projects on heritage sites across North America. Tai actively participates as a member of professional organizations including The National Trust for Historic Preservation, The Association for Preservation Technologies International, ASTM International, and The American Institute of Architects as a Continuing Education Provider for over 8 years.
