On Saturday, November 3,  APT DC and the APT-Delaware Valley Chapters will be co-sponsoring a half-day workshop focused on the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs a.k.a. “drones”) for heritage documentation and investigation. Presenters will include Global Air Media of Baltimore, Vertical Access of NY & DC, and Historic Building Architects of Trenton, NJ.

Attendees will gain insights into uses of UAVs including high-resolution photography, aerial mapping, photogrammetric survey drawings, augmented visualizations, live-feed and recorded video streams, infrared thermography, and others.

We will begin with a live, outdoor UAV demonstration (weather permitting) followed by an indoor round table presentation and panel discussion. Refreshments, including a boxed lunch, will be provided.

Continuing education credits will also be offered.

Sponsorship of this event is available for $75. If your company or organization would like to sponsor this workshop please email us at info@aptdc.org
