As a courtesy for our chapter members and guests, APT DC has reserved ten complimentary parking passes for the Washington Temple Open House on Saturday, June 4.
About the Washington Temple: As an iconic landmark for drivers along the Capital Beltway, the Washington Temple has inspired curiosity from Washingtonians for the past half century. The Washington Temple was the first of the Church of the Latter-day Saints to be constructed on the East Coast. When completed in 1974, it served all Latter-day Saints living east of the Mississippi and some in South America and Canada. In 2018-2020, the Temple underwent an extensive renovation. Between April and June 2022, before the Temple is rededicated, it is being opened to the public for the first time in nearly fifty years.
About the Tour: APT DC has reserved ten complimentary parking passes for a self-guided tour of the Temple building and grounds. Please note that this tour is self guided and will not include any special access for APT DC registrants. If you would like to connect with other chapter members, we encourage you to check out the registrant list. Each registration includes one reserved parking spot (with as many passengers as you would like). If you would like to arrive by public transportation, no advance registration is required.
