We welcome the return of our ongoing series, Preservation Pioneers, where we speak with a member of our local Preservation community to discuss their training, career, and their predictions for the future of our field. This time, we're speaking with John Burns.
John's career with the NPS saw him working with the likes of the famous Historic American Buildings Survey and Technical Preservation Services. Though he claims not to have been a Founding Member of the DC Chapter of APT, he was it's first president. He's recently retired and we're looking forward to chatting with him in person.
