Join us for a tour of the 1779 Maryland State House hosted by the Christman Company. The group will climb the scaffold on a guided tour of the building facade to review ongoing masonry repairs, wood window restoration/reinstallation, and cornice repairs. The group will also have the opportunity to tour the 1735 Old Treasury Building and hear about future planned construction.

Site Address: 100 State Circle, Annapolis, MD 21401. Please meet in the morning at the Old Treasury Building just east of the State House.

Parking: Street parking is available around the site but usually limited. The Calvert Street Garage (19 St. Johns Street) is an 8-minute walk to the site and is free on the weekend.

Other Info:

  • A light breakfast will be provided for tour attendees. Our thanks to The Christman Company for sponsoring this!
  • This is an outdoor event so please bring water.
  • Since this is an active construction site, please bring PPE including boots, a safety vest, and a hard hat. A limited amount will be available to those who need. When you register, please let us know if you will require a safety vest or hard hat.
  • The State House will be open to the public and you are encouraged to visit that on your own.
  • 1.5 AIA CES Learning Unit (LU/HSW) has been approved for the tour.
