Join APT DC for a volunteer cleaning event at Oak Hill Cemetery!
APT DC is once again partnering with Oak Hill Cemetery Historic Preservation Foundation and Prosoco to clean some of the historic monuments and memorials at the cemetery.
No prior experience required and all equipment and supplies will be provided. Just bring your hat and enthusiasm! Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty.
Lunch and water will be provided.
Parking is available on site within the gates. We will be meeting at the historic Renwick Chapel at 9am.
Four (4) AIA HSW/LU Credits are available for this event for $40. PDH Certificates available for $10.
About Oak Hill Cemetery: Oak Hill Cemetery is located in the center of historic Georgetown, a unique neighborhood founded in 1751. Oak Hill Cemetery is home to the historic Gothic Revival Renwick Chapel, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, designed by James Renwick. A landmark home to many famous Washingtonians and those who were influential in the country’s history. Neighboring Dumbarton Oaks, Dumbarton House, and Montrose Park, the main entrance is at the corner of 30th and R Street.
